At least eight vehicles parked on the same residential street in Hoschton were targeted by thieves, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. A dispute about who “cut in line” in a carpool lane at a Hoschton daycare center led one man to pull a gun on another man, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. The Jefferson Police Department has made two arrests in the theft of items from several locations. Jackie Chad Allen, 32, Madison County, has been charged with two counts of burglary.
