A Winder man was charged with battery and criminal damage to property after a Feb. 20 dispute with his domestic partner. Stacy Dewayne Peppers, 41, of 39 Alexander Street, reportedly accused his live-in partner of cheating on him. The victim said an intoxicated Peppers struck him on the right side of his head.
