Woman arrested after reporting dog stolen

A woman had more contact with law enforcement than she expected after calling Auburn Police for help with her missing dog. The woman, Regina Anderson, 29, of 64 Main Street lot 24 in Auburn, informed officers that her boxer puppy Wauka had been missing for three days. Eighth grade writing scores show improvement

Eighth grade students in Barrow County scored 13 percent higher on this year’s statewide writing assessment, according to figures recently released by the Barrow County School system.
