After a strong start to the season, the Lady Eagles soccer squad finds itself in the midst of a slump, having lost three consecutive matches. The Lady Eagles fell 3-1 to Walnut Grove last Wednesday and dropped a 6-0 match at home to Gainesville on Monday. The Lady Eagles will host Athens Academy on Saturday at noon.

Following a week of rain, Commerce’s netters faced Athens Christian last Tuesday. The girls were swept 5-0 by Athens Christan while the boys’ double team of Jessie Savage and Garrett Wilson posted the only win in a 4-1 loss.
