A residential fire was reported Thursday morning at 48 Riesling Drive in Braselton. The West Jackson, North Jackson and the Jackson County Correctional Institute fire departments responded on reports of a structure fire. A father and son burning copper by a river in Braselton caused a fire in a wooded area, according to police. The 58-year-old father said he and his 30-year-old son were at a bridge on Ga. City manager wants more funds for libraries
