Jefferson played host to several area schools in a meet held last Friday. The girls fared the best for Jefferson, finishing fourth overall. Time is running out for the Commerce netters to get a win. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams are 0-5 on the season after falling to Towns County last week and Lakeview on Monday. It was a good outing for the Jackson County netters last week, as the boys picked up a win over Eastside in a 3-2 decision. Lex Mosley won at number one singles 6-2, 6-1. Banks County’s diamond Leopards improved to an 8-5 record this past week as the teams picked up a doubleheader win over Rabun County.
