A Houston man was stopped after paying more attention to a frisky girlfriend than to the road. A deputy stopped Donald Keith Funk, 43, of 818 Charles Street, Houston, Georgia, after he witnessed Funk driving in the middle of the roadway on Atlanta Highway. Gas leak reported on Ga. Hwy. 53

A demolition crew working on a Ga. Hwy. 53 site apparently hit a natural gas line and caused a leak. The West Jackson Fire Department responded to the demolition site, where a half-inch metal pipe was leaking gas.
