An Auburn woman is facing multiple counts of stalking after repeatedly videotaping her Hilltop Circle neighbor. Barbara Jean Waldroup, 59, of 82 Hilltop Circle, was arrested May 17 after her neighbor summoned authorities after seeing Waldroup videotaping her activities. Free movies begin June 11

This summer, the City of Auburn will be screening free movies once a month in downtown Auburn. The first movie will be shown on June 11 at sunset. The movie title has not yet been announced. A Braselton man was arrested by police for stalking and peeping up a woman’s skirt with a mirror he placed in a grocery store basket. Clinton Richard Rhodes, 36, was charged with stalking, peeping tom and eavesdropping in the May 9 incident at the Publix on Ga. Hwy. 211. He was booked in the Barrow County Jail on May 18. An Auburn woman said her mailbox has been knocked down several times since telling a group of teenagers to stay off her property.
