After a strong season, the Jefferson boys’ netters saw their year come to a close this week with a loss to Westminster Tuesday evening. After being delayed by two days, the East Jackson Lady Eagles finally got to take part in the finals of the girls’ 8-AA region track meet at EJCHS last Wednesday. The Commerce Tigers qualified six for next week’s state track meet in Jefferson. On May 13, the Commerce boys will head to Jefferson to compete in the triple jump, 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay, 100m dash, 110m hurdles and 200m run.
