Barrow 911 move begins tomorrow

Barrow County Emergency Services will begin the process of moving to the county’s new 911 center on Tuesday, May 25. The move will begin at approximately 3 a.m. and is expected to last until noon. Man flees Statham after striking cars, mailbox

A Winder man was arrested after wreaking havoc in Statham and later fleeing from Winder Police. Elsea Randall Temple, 36, of 814 Lakeshore Drive in Winder, struck two vehicles and a mailbox within the City of Statham. In just over an hour, Statham officers arrested two people and cited four others during a May 7 traffic safety check on Bethlehem Road.
