A former pastorium at Faith Baptist Church, Jefferson, was heavily damaged by fire early Thursday morning. Robbery, false imprisonment reported

A robbery at a flea market near Nicholson and false imprisonment at a Talmo home are among the incidents reported to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office last week. Jefferson BOE approves $297,000 overhaul of track

The Jefferson High School track at Memorial Stadium will receive a long-awaited facelift.
