ACS fundraiser set for June 18

The first “Rhythm, Rock and Relay” will be held June 18 featuring the “Honey Do” Auction. A 65-year-old man is dead after an early morning house fire in Statham. Firefighters were dispatched to 257 Third Street just after 2 a.m. Wednesday morning. Tree falls in mobile home park, no injuries reported

Statham Police were dispatched to the McCarty Mobile Home Park on June 5 after a tree fell during the early morning hours. No one was injured, but a vehicle and a service pole at one residence sustained minor damage after being struck by the tree. Police are also investigating two thefts which occurred on June 5.
