Jackson jobless rate falls slightly

Not only did Georgia’s unemployment rate fall from March to April, but so did the jobless rates in Jackson and six surrounding counties. According to the Georgia Department of Labor, the jobless rate for April was 9.8 statewide, down from 10.4 percent in March.
