A cable barrier on I-85 near Jefferson damaged in a wreck Tuesday will be repaired by the Georgia Department of Transportation on Thursday. Repair crews will be on the site from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to replace 400 feet of asphalt and 800 feet of cable barrier. A 10-year-old child was airlifted to the Grady Medical Center burn unit in Atlanta Thursday after being burnt by some type of flammable liquid.
