Winder man logs sixth arrest in two years for domestic violence

A Winder man has been jailed for the sixth time in two years on domestic violence charges. Nicholas Paul Fortner, 30, of 836 Hwy. 211 in Winder, is accused of entering his ex-girlfriend’s house on June 6 and attacking her. A business on Bill Rutledge Road was billed more than $8,000 after someone hacked into the company’s phone system to make calls to Africa. An employee of the business said he had been notified by Comcast that there was a problem with the account.
