The Banks County Sheriff’s Office investigated a theft at a Poole Road, Homer, residence during the past week. The complainant told a deputy that sometime between 8 a.m. on Sept. 17 and 3 p.m. on Sept. 20 someone took a door off of his red 1978 Ford F-150 pickup truck. BOE plans to keep millage rate at 13.2

The Banks County Board of Education plans to leave the millage rate the same as the current rate. The board gave tentative approval at a work session Thursday night for a 13.2 millage rate.
