A Winder woman is facing multiple charges after a domestic dispute. A deputy was called to a Bismarck Circle residence in response to a report of a verbal dispute. ‘Government level crisis’ ends in arrests

Two people were taken into custody after allegedly holding a woman hostage at gunpoint. Deputies were called to an Auburn business on Sept. 13 in response to an unknown situation. Early voting for the Nov. 2 general election is now under way. Early voting began Monday, Sept. 20, and ends on Friday, Oct. 29 in all Georgia counties. BOC hikes taxes 1 mill

The Barrow County Board of Commissioners voted Tuesday night to raise the county’s tax rate by one mill. The vote was 5-1 with commissioner Larry Joe Wilburn voting no. Recycled signs promote SPLOST spending
