Recently released economic data from the United States Census Bureau shows that while the number of Barrow County residents living in poverty has decreased, average household earnings continue to fall. Kool-Aid, meat thieves nabbed in Auburn

Two men were arrested for shoplifting after stealing meat and Kool-Aid from an Auburn grocery store. Barrow County Elections supervisor Katie Ferm believes Nov. 2 could be a good day at the polls. As of Oct. 1, 495 people have voted early in person.
