A Nicholson man was arrested recently after he reportedly struck a woman and her son at a residence on Cherokee Road and then left, driving intoxicated. Richard J. Truck stopped after driving wrong way on I-85

A wrong-way tractor-trailer truck driver was stopped on Interstate 85, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. A deputy said emergency dispatchers received three 911 calls about the truck, which was seen driving north in the southbound lanes of I-85, according to an incident report.
