Burglar arrested after leaving shoe print at scene

Evidence at a crime scene led to the Oct. 15 arrest of a Statham man on burglary charges. The victim said he was in the living room of his Arnold Road home when he heard a noise in his son’s bedroom. Couple allegedly passes counterfeit money at yard sale

A man and woman from Bishop were arrested after allegedly using counterfeit bills at a Madison County yard sale recently. Red Raiders fall to Union Grove

Hull council approves lawn contract

The Hull City Council opened bids for lawn maintenance at its brief council meeting Oct. 18 Bids ranged from $585 a month from Cutrite Maintenance to $480 monthly by J&M Lawn.
