A Bethlehem man was arrested for shoplifting after trying to steal beer from an Auburn grocery store. Store employees witnessed James David McCormick, 18, of 2437 Berry Hall Road in Bethlehem, attempt to leave the Auburn Ingles with two 30-packs of Coors Light. Mysterious ‘Bubba’ starts fight

A rowdy man known only as “Bubba” caused a disturbance at a Creekwood Court home on Sept. 19. Witnesses said “Bubba” picked a fight with the homeowner and struck him in the mouth. A Bethlehem woman contacted authorities after a man beat on her garage door for 45 minutes. The woman said the male arrived at her house around 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 17.
