No arrest has been made for the Nov. 4 murder of Jaymar “Jamie” Morrison of Jot-Em-Down Road. Madison County Chief Deputy Shawn Burns said Tuesday that a shotgun was the weapon used to commit the murder and that both shots to Morrison’s body, one in the head and one in the chest, were believed to be caused by the same weapon. Danielsville man charged with battery

A Danielsville man was arrested recently following a physical altercation with his wife at their home. Phillip Daniel Dixon, 37, 1727 Holman Autry Road, was charged with battery FVA and obstruction. Health department to administer flu vaccine at schools
