A woman was arrested on Patrick Mill Road Nov. 15 by the Winder Police Department for possession of marijuana. After officers noticed a driver run a stop sign at the intersection of Patrick Mill and Circle Drive, they pulled over Kathleen Finnerty and asked for her driver’s license. Christmas will come early for City of Auburn employees when they receive a one-time pay bonus on December 17 in recognition of their “dedication and commitment in saving thousands of dollars” during the past fiscal year. Officers of the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a man crawling down Patrick Mill Road. Upon arrival officers discovered a young man crawling on the side of the street. Two men were arrested recently after they attempted to flee an officer who reportedly spotted their vehicle speeding on Colbert-Danielsville Road. A man shooting at deer from his truck was told by another man that he can’t hunt from his vehicle, according to an incident report from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
