Sanders pleads not guilty to kidnapping in Louisiana

On Friday, Nov. 19, Thomas Steven Sanders pleaded not guilty at his court hearing in Alexandria, La. to the charges of kidnapping the 12-year-old girl whose remains were found by hunters in the woods near Harrisonburg, Miss. Barrow County Sheriff’s Officers were dispatched to an accident report on Highway 211 Nov. 14 which led to a DUI arrest. Upon arrival officers found an overturned Ford Explorer lying on the left side of the road and discovered skid marks moving across the street.
