A Hoschton man said his help in a friend’s marriage led to a number of harassing phone calls, according to an incident report from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. Carl residents may prepare for their garbage bills to increase by about $1 per household in the new year. Elderly woman struck by vehicle on East Broad

On Nov. 19, officers from the Winder Police Department responded to a call on East Broad Street. A woman claimed to have struck a pedestrian with her driver side mirror while traveling down East Broad Street. Four charged with burglary in Madison Co.

On Nov. 23, officers with the Winder Police Department were dispatched to the area behind the Bottle Shop in reference to a suspicious person in the area.
