A package store owner said another store in Braselton was illegally open and selling alcohol on Thanksgiving, according to an incident report. An owner of Cork and Keg on Ga. Jackson County was apparently spared from major storm damage on Tuesday, according to officials. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and the Jackson County Emergency Services reported only a handful of trees on roadways and several minor traffic accidents. Maysville vandalism reported

VANDALISM AT a Maysville residence is among the incidents reported last week to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. A Golden Nugget Way resident said that someone broke into the residence through the basement door, poured motor oil on the floor and used white spray paint to put an obscene phrase on a mirror. Warrants issued for man fleeing officers

Warrants for aggravated assault, fleeing, obstruction and other charges have been issued for a 28-year old man who fled officers recently after they spotted him in the car line at Hull-Sanford Elementary School waiting to pick up children.
