For the first time in 12 years, the Jackson County Board of Education will have a new chairperson and vice chairperson. Lynn Wheeler was named chairperson of the board on Thursday and Tim Brooks was selected as vice chairperson. Gov. Nathan Deal has decided to start the process over for appointing a new State Court judge for Jackson County. Applications are now being taken. Former Gov.
