Old House Workshop postponed

The Barrow County Preservation Society has postponed its scheduled Old House Workshop which had been set for Saturday, Jan. 22. The event will be rescheduled for a later date, organizers said.

The Winder-Barrow High School FFA alumni will host a Chili Challenge Thursday, Jan. 27, from 5:30-8 p.m. in the WBHS cafeteria. Each team should bring two-three gallons of homemade chili. Woman attacks bartender when asked to leave

Officers from the Barrow County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched Jan. 4 to a bar on Atlanta Highway. Upon arrival one of the bartenders told police that a woman had refused to leave the bar after being asked several times to do so by the staff.
