After games with Jackson County and Jefferson were postponed due to the wintery weather last week, the East Jackson Eagles faced the Raiders of Habersham Central, coming away with their ninth loss of the season. The winter weather kept the Commerce basketball teams off the court last week. They’ll return to action at Athens Academy Friday against the Spartans. The Lady Tigers will be looking for their first win against the Lady Spartans since January of 2009. Athens Academy has won four straight since then, including a 60-36 victory back in December. ...
