A man reportedly died from injuries he received in a motorcycle wreck Sunday morning in Jefferson. The wreck happened around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of the Damon Gause Bypass (Hwy. 129) and Hwy. 11. A Nicholson woman is celebrating a jumbo Georgia Lottery win. Cassandra “Candy” Reynolds, 38, won $500,000 playing the instant game Jumbo Jumbo Bucks. “I’m just absolutely shocked,” she said. A JEFFERSON man was arrested for creating a hazardous condition (public drunk) after being found on a railroad track in Arcade. Charles William Doyal, 41, 204 White Oak Trail, Jefferson, was arrested by the Arcade Police Department. He was spotted by someone passing by who called 911.
