A pest control company has placed a bat valve in the city complex that allows the bats to leave, but blocks them from coming back in. County to cover immunizations for public safety workers

Man sentenced to three years in jail for child molestation

A Madison County man was recently sentenced in Madison County Superior Court to three years confinement for child molestation. Eddie Martin Cowan, 50, 190 Tommy James Road, Hull, was also sentenced to seven years probation and fined $1,475. Three counts of cruelty to children were dismissed.
