A Barrow County woman was killed Tuesday when she swerved into oncoming traffic, hitting a county dump truck head-on, said the Georgia State patrol. Donna C. A house fire Friday night on Manning Gin Rd. was reportedly caused by lightning, according to Barrow County EMS officials. Two teens were charged with burglary on Sweet Gum Lane last week after neighbors reported hearing glass break at a nearby residence.
