Winning state medals is nothing new for Amanda Cope. The Winder-Barrow High School distance runner placed sixth in the 1,600-meter run last week in Albany for Class AAAA. Dennia Ernest returned to the winner’s podium in Albany for the Apalachee High School Lady Wildcat track team. The sophomore was seventh in the high jump with a mark of 5-2.
