Lady Leopards wrap up track at East Jackson

Banks County’s Lady Leopards completed their track season Saturday with a trip to the girl’s 8-AA region meet at East Jackson. The East Jackson baseball Eagles closed out their 2011 campaign last week with a win over in-county rival Jackson County. They fell to the Patriots of Oglethorpe County in their season finale. The Commerce Lady Tigers’ track team will send one athlete to the girls’ state meet May 12-14 in Albany. Lily Mather was the region champion in the high jump.
