A 31-year-old Winder resident died Friday afternoon in a collision with a large truck on Highway 11 South just past the Winder Corners Shopping Center, according to a press release from the Winder Police Department. A Barrow County deputy has resigned over comments he made on his Facebook page and over comments he allegedly made to others within the department.
