Missing money leads to fight at Hwy. 98 residence

A fight over missing money following a party was reported at a residence on Hwy. 98 West. According to the incident report, officers were dispatched to the residence following the report of a theft of $3,000 cash from the home. Chico's announces data center

One of Barrow County’s largest corporations announced Monday that it is planning to add a $24.5 million data center to its local operations. Commissioner John Pethel says the county needs to do something quickly to repair the Sam Bruce Road bridge. None of his fellow commissioners feel the same.
