Bethlehem man charged with four burglaries

A Bethlehem man is being held in the Hall County Detention Center on charges in connection with four burglaries on Atlanta Road in Gainesville. According to Kevin Holbrook, spokesperson with the Gainesville Police Department, Luis Gonzalez, of Bethlehem, was arrested at a traffic stop on April 18 at Johnson Street in Gainesville. Auburn to swear in new parks and leisure director

Auburn will soon have a new parks and leisure director to coordinate all the city’s leisure activities. Winder to extend natural gas lines

The Winder City Council on Tuesday agreed to spend about $60,000 to install 12,500 feet of natural gas main along the rights of way of Highway 11, Hancock Bridge Road and Pleasant Hill Church Road in Barrow County.
