Barrow man caught growing 54 marijuana plants

A Barrow County man was arrested June 23 after a state operation led to the discovery of 54 marijuana plants growing in a wooded area off Argonne Road in Winder. Council buys land for sewer project at new hospital

The Braselton Town Council agreed Monday to buy land for a sewer project that will serve a new hospital on Thompson Mill Road. Northeast Georgia Medical Center is planning to build a 100-bed hospital on 119 acres next to The Village at Deaton Creek.
