A house fire off Laythan Court in Winder displaced a family of five on Tuesday. The cause of the fire is still unknown and under investigation, according to Lt. Lint in dryer vent causes weekend house fire

Excess lint build-up in a dryer vent caused a Winder home to catch fire on Saturday. The blaze started in the exhaust tube and spread to the crawl space of the home.
