Classes start Thursday in Banks schools

Banks County students will return to the classroom on Thursday for the first day of class. The projected enrollment is 2,925 for the 2011-12 school year, up about 25 students over the 2010-11 total. Stolen hot air balloon leads to several arrests

A Barrow County man is still at large after his daughter and seven other people have been charged with stealing a hot air balloon from a Gwinnett County residence last month, Gwinnett Police released Monday. Braselton OKs building permits

The Braselton Planning and Development Department approved four building permits for new residences in June, according to a report from the town.
