The Commerce City Council voted to raise the property tax rate ever so slightly Monday night, but with so many residential re-evaluations, most city residents will probably find their property tax bills slightly lower than they were last year. City police make 6 cases on I-85

Commerce police officers made six cases while patrolling Interstate 85 this past week. Among them were three charges of misdemeanor possession of marijuana, all made by the same officer. A PAIR of Winder-Barrow High School cross country team members have earned area recognition. Juniors Skyler Lowe and Caitlin Connell were named the MainStreet Newspapers’ boys and girls runners of the week respectively by area coaches.
