A man was arrested last week after he allegedly pointed a gun at his stepson at a Lokey’s Ridge Road, Bethlehem residence. No one was injured in the incident. According to a Barrow County Sheriff’s Office incident report, Derrick Vinson, 41, complied with responding officers’ commands on scene. They arrested him Oct. 18 and he was taken ... Woman reports attempted car theft on Wildcat Bridge Road

A woman on Wildcat Bridge Road reported that a man attempted to steal her vehicle from her yard. She said she heard a noise and looked out the window and saw a black male sitting in the driver’s seat of her car. She said her teenage son ran outside and chased the man away.
