Employees in a Braselton bank sounded a hold-up alarm on Friday, after a man demanded that employees give him his money, according to an incident report. David Poteet (right) was sworn into office on Monday as a new member of the Hoschton City Council for Post 4. He replaces Richard Shepherd, who didn’t seek another term on the city council. A SWAT team was used Tuesday night to arrest a man in a South Hall subdivision, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office. Shannon Pavey, 38, of Hoschton, was going to be arrested on warrants for five counts of felony first degree cruelty to children.
