Former Braselton court clerk pleads guilty to theft

Braselton’s former court clerk will serve three years in jail and another 13 years on probation after she entered a guilty plea on Thursday for stealing money from the town’s municipal court. Employees in a Braselton bank sounded a hold-up alarm on Friday, after a man demanded that employees give him his money, according to an incident report.
