Men deny having possession of marijuana

Two men in a vehicle traveling on Interstate 85 claimed that marijuana found by a Braselton officer — some in one man’s pants and more found in a backpack — belonged to other people, according to an incident report. The Madison County Chamber of Commerce held it 2011 Youth Leadership Graduation Dinner and Ceremony last week at the Ila Restaurant. Three arrested after fight on Hwy. 106 South

Two men and a juvenile were arrested recently after a fight was reported at a residence on Hwy. 106 South. Michael Paul Gibbons, 27, 4570 Hwy. 106 South, Hull, and Anthony Paul Cooper, 22, 81 Williams Wilson Road, Hull, were each charged with battery and contributing to delinquency of a minor. Santa to visit Hoschton Depot on Saturday

The Hoschton Women’s Civic Club will host its annual Santa at the Depot visit on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to noon. Santa will arrive at the Hoschton Depot at 10 a.m. on a fire truck from the West Jackson Fire Department. Adulterous couple caught “playing out fantasy” on private property

A property owner said she would not file charges against a 44-year-old Barrow County woman and 64-year-old Oconee County man who were reportedly cheating on their spouses and “living out their fantasy” on a private wooded lot off Ernest Elder Road in Winder. In many ways it was a typical first game for the Apalachee High School Lady Wildcats Tuesday night.
