An Ila woman was arrested on Christmas Day after she reported a false crime. Mary Shellie Drake, 34, 98 Hudson River Church Road, was charged with one count of false report of a crime after officer Josh Fowler was summoned to Fitzpatrick Road regarding a theft. State approves road funding for county

Madison County commissioners learned Dec. 26 that the state government has approved four roads for resurfacing in 2012.
