BOE approves Option #2 calendar for 2012-2013

The Barrow County Board of Education approved option #2 for next year’s school calendar. The calendar includes a later spring break then the other option and six possible furlough days. Braselton audit: Town ends FY 2011 in the red

The Town of Braselton ended FY2011 in the red by nearly half-million dollars in its general fund, according to the recently released audit. A teenager accused of raping another teenager in his Braselton subdivision in 2010 has had his case dismissed, according to court documents. Suspect ‘tippy toes’ through house to steal credit card

A woman seen “tip toeing” through a house apparently stole one of the resident’s credit cards, according to an incident report from the Braselton Police Department.
