Bethlehem to hold public hearing on budget

The Town of Bethlehem will hold a public hearing Monday, Feb. 27, at on its proposed 2012 budget. A closed session concerning real estate acquisition will be held after the budget hearing.

Winder man faces hit and run charge, DUI

A Winder man is in custody after allegedly leaving the scene of an accident while intoxicated Thursday afternoon. Health system withdraws annexation request for hospital in Braselton

Northeast Georgia Health System has withdrawn its request seeking annexation into Braselton for its 119-acre property on Thompson Mill Road. A chase involving a stolen vehicle that started in Braselton ended in a remote area of Hamilton Mill, according to an incident report. Family displaced in Winder house fire

A family of five was displaced as a result of a house fire Tuesday caused by grease on a kitchen stove. The fire occurred on the 30 block of Huckleberry Lane.
