Rival fans on both sides celebrated on Thursday and Monday as Commerce and Jefferson split its only two meetings this baseball season. The Dragons took the first contest, with pitchers appearing in mid-season form. Local Players Picked As All-Region

A host of area players received all-conference honors for their performances this basketball season. Two Commerce High School boys players were named to the all-region team for 8-A. The Commerce High School golf teams embarked on the 2012 season last week, carding some tough rounds in tough weather. The Tigers’ highlight so far came on Feb. 21.
