Commerce High School extended its winning streak to eight entering this week, with a key win over George Walton Academy last Tuesday at Tiger Field. The Braselton Police Department reports that a runaway teen has been located, although she was taken to a youth detention center. Ashley Jarrard, 16, was initially reported as missing after family members last heard from her on Saturday night. JCCHS shoots 155 to set new school mark, win county title WITH A talented and deep roster, it was only a matter of time before the Jackson County golf team broke the school scoring record. THE JEFFERSON girls’ soccer team came away with more than just bragging rights in its showdown with Jackson County. Apalachee High School baseball coach Mike Cavey was looking for a big win Monday to erase what had been a bad previous week. As it turns out, Cavey got a huge one as his Diamond Wildcats took a 10-0 subregion victory against visiting Clarke Central to get back on the winning track.
